Overview
The electric chain hoist jib crane is an industrial auxiliary material handling device that combines the flexible coverage of a jib crane with the high-efficiency lifting capability of an electric chain hoist. For modern workshops requiring non-standard customization and precise positioning, it is an efficient tool for solving material transfer problems.
Core Components
Cantilever cranes: Typically divided into fixed-column type (column fixed to the ground) and wall-mounted type (fixed to factory columns), with rotation angles typically ranging from 270° to 360°.
Electric chain hoists: As the core lifting component, compared to wire rope hoists, chain hoists are smaller, more durable, and offer smoother chain lifting, making them suitable for frequent inching operations.
Custom-designed non-standard grippers: This is the “soul” of the robotic arm. Depending on the workpiece shape (e.g., steel coils, paper rolls, automotive parts, castings, etc.), pneumatic grippers, vacuum chucks, or electromagnetic chucks can be used.
Control system: Usually integrated into the handle control lever, supporting variable frequency speed control to achieve near-zero gravity operation.
