Overview
Pneumatic assist manipulators are core devices for solving heavy object handling, precision assembly, and repetitive labor. They utilize compressed air as a power source, combined with “zero-gravity” balancing technology, enabling operators to easily move workpieces weighing hundreds of kilograms with minimal thrust.
Core Working Principle
Zero-Gravity Balancing: The system senses the load weight in real time and automatically adjusts the air pressure to suspend the workpiece. The operator only needs to apply approximately 2kg to 5kg of force to achieve smooth vertical and horizontal movement.
Customized End-Tackles: Depending on the workpiece shape (e.g., car windshields, engine blocks, cartons, chemical drums, etc.), vacuum suction cups, pneumatic grippers, external expansion lifting devices, or tilting mechanisms can be configured.
High Safety Design:
- Air Supply Interruption Protection: In the event of an accidental air supply interruption, the robotic arm will automatically lock or slowly descend to prevent the workpiece from falling.
- Misoperation Protection: The grippers will only release when the workpiece is fully placed on the support surface, ensuring personnel safety.
Fully Pneumatic Control Logic: No power supply required, excellent explosion-proof performance, suitable for environments with extremely high fire protection requirements such as paint shops and chemical warehouses.

Air Supply Interruption Locking: In the event of a sudden air supply interruption, the robotic arm automatically locks to prevent slippage.
Load Detection: When the air pressure is insufficient to support the current load, the system restricts lifting action and issues an alarm.
