Film Roll Lifting Manipulator Arm
In the packaging, printing, and film manufacturing industries, handling heavy rolls of film (such as plastic film, aluminum foil, and paper rolls) is an extremely challenging task. The pneumatic film roll lifting manipulator arm is specifically designed to solve the problems of picking up, handling, and precisely loading roll materials. Through “internal support” or “external clamping” grippers, it easily achieves lateral picking and longitudinal flipping of the film roll.
Core Functions and Design
This system combines the dexterity of a pneumatic balancer with the functionality of a specialized flipping clamp. Its core advantages are:
90° Powered Flipping: Supports the film roll’s upward flipping from the pallet to the required horizontal mandrel position for loading, driven entirely by cylinders for a smooth, shock-free experience.
Internal Support Pneumatic Mandrel: The clamp penetrates deep into the center of the film roll’s paper tube, locking from the inside via pneumatic tensioning blocks, preventing damage to the film surface and providing an extremely secure grip.
Stepless Load Balancing: Regardless of the film roll’s weight (within its rated range), the system maintains a “floating” state, allowing the operator to easily connect the roll with minimal effort.

Safety Protection Mechanisms:
Clamping Force Self-Locking: The system only allows lifting after sensing that the film roll is fully tightened and locked.
Anti-Accidental Unloading Protection: As long as the film roll is suspended, the clamp will not release even if the release button is pressed, preventing the film roll from slipping and causing injury.
Low Air Pressure Alarm: When the air supply pressure falls below the safe value, the system will lock the current position and issue a warning.
