In modern industrial assembly and material handling, the pneumatic folding arm balance manipulator (also known as a pneumatic balancer or assisted manipulator) is an ideal device for achieving “zero-gravity” material handling. Through a precise pneumatic control system, it counteracts the weight of the workpiece, allowing the operator to easily move heavy loads with minimal force (typically less than 2 kg).
This equipment utilizes a logic-based pneumatic control system to sense load changes in real time. Through high-precision pressure regulating valves and pneumatic control components, the system maintains a constant balance between the cylinder pressure and the workpiece’s weight. When the operator manually raises or lowers the workpiece, the system automatically adjusts the air pressure, achieving a “suspended” state throughout the entire process and allowing for immediate stopping.
Flexible Folding Arm Design: Employing a double- or triple-section folding arm structure, the rotating joints are equipped with high-performance bearings, resulting in minimal horizontal movement resistance and enabling 360-degree coverage without blind spots.
“Zero Gravity” Suspension: The workpiece remains in a balanced state throughout its vertical stroke; the operator does not need to continuously press buttons, simply pushing or pulling to position it.
Rigid Column/Suspension Options: Depending on the site layout, options include a ground-fixed column type, a mobile base type, or a lifting suspension track type.
Fully Pneumatic Drive: Requires no electricity, suitable for high-frequency operations, and inherently possesses explosion-proof characteristics, making it particularly suitable for chemical and spraying environments.

Gas Cut-off Protection: In the event of a sudden gas cut-off in the workshop, the one-way check valve and gas tank will ensure that the workpiece does not fall instantly, protecting personnel and equipment safety.
Misoperation Protection: When the workpiece is not placed in the support position, the system locks the clamp release function to prevent the workpiece from accidentally falling.
Load Limit Alarm: When the preset load is exceeded, the system will limit the lifting action to prevent damage to the mechanical structure.
