Overview
A pneumatic manipulator is an industrial handling device that uses air pressure to achieve a “zero-gravity” state for the load. Through precise pressure control, it suspends heavy objects, allowing the operator to perform lifting, rotation, and precise positioning with minimal force.
Core Working Principle
The core of the pneumatic-assisted manipulator lies in its air circuit balancing system. The system detects the weight of the end-load and automatically adjusts the pressure within the cylinder, achieving a dynamic balance between the upward thrust generated by the piston and the load’s weight (and the gripper’s own weight).
Full-stroke balancing: Within the effective working radius, the operator can manually pull heavy objects to any height.
No-load/load switching: Equipped with automatic recognition, the manipulator maintains balance and prevents bouncing, whether before or after gripping.

Employs a parallel linkage mechanism, offering high rigidity and enabling cantilevered offset gripping.
Suitable for: Applications requiring access to confined spaces (such as ovens or machine tool interiors) or situations requiring workpiece rotation.
Cable Type:
Uses steel wire rope or high-strength fiber rope for lifting; lightweight structure and extremely high maneuverability.
Suitable for: Scenarios with high frequency of vertical lifting, large coverage area, and where the workpiece’s center of gravity is directly below the lifting point.

Bespoke Engineering: Customized pneumatic clamps, such as vacuum suction cups, mechanical grippers, or expansion shafts, can be tailored to the shape of the workpiece (coils, sheets, boxes, automotive parts).
High Safety:Equipped with air supply interruption protection. In the event of an accidental air supply interruption, a one-way valve locks the cylinder pressure, ensuring the load does not suddenly fall. It also features misoperation protection to prevent accidental release of the load in mid-air.
Ergonomics:Significantly reduces the workload of frontline workers, prevents chronic spinal and muscle injuries, and improves assembly line efficiency.
Explosion-proof Rating: Purely pneumatic control, no risk of electrical sparks, suitable for flammable and explosive environments such as painting and chemical industries.
