Overview
In the manufacturing of cooling systems for automobiles, construction machinery, and generator sets, radiator cores are extremely fragile and precision components. Their aluminum foil fins are highly susceptible to collapsing, deformation, or surface scratches, and the overall structure lacks rigidity before complete curing.
Radiator core handling robots are specifically designed to resolve the conflict between “efficient handling” and “material protection,” and are widely used in loading and inspection processes before fastening and brazing.
Core Product Design: Deformation Prevention and Precision Protection
Targeting the physical characteristics of the radiator core, this robotic arm integrates several patented technologies:
Multi-point Flexible Gripping: Utilizing a custom-designed long-arm gripper, it evenly distributes clamping force, preventing deformation of the core’s central area due to gravity or localized pressure.
Zero-Gravity Pneumatic Suspension: Equipped with a precision pneumatic balancing system, it allows the operator to achieve vertical lifting and three-dimensional translation of the core with minimal manual force.
Adaptive End-Face Compensation: The gripper contact surfaces use high-polymer materials (such as nylon or special rubber) to simulate the gentleness of manual handling, ensuring zero damage to the radiator fins.

Application Scenario Examples
Pre-brazing Preparation: The assembled core is transferred from the stacking rack to the stainless steel mesh belt of the brazing furnace.
Snap-fit Process: The core is precisely placed into the snap-fit mold in the water chamber (Tank).
Finished Product Inspection: Frequent transfers occur between the airtightness testing station and the turnover rack.
