The steel pipe handling robot is an intelligent lifting device specifically designed for the pipe manufacturing, processing, and assembly industries. Addressing the characteristics of steel pipes—their weight, length, and unstable center of gravity—this system utilizes pneumatic balancing technology to transform heavy objects into a “zero-gravity” state. Whether retrieving materials from shelves, feeding them to machine tools, or stacking finished products, operators can achieve precise control of the steel pipes with minimal physical exertion.

Automatic Center of Gravity Compensation: For steel pipes of varying lengths, the system features automatic center-of-gravity tracking or adjustment to ensure the pipe remains level during handling, preventing tilting risks.
Dedicated Pipe Gripping Mechanism:
- Internal Support Clamp: Suitable for large-diameter steel pipes, it uses internal tensioning to protect the outer wall from scratches.
- External Clamp/V-Shaped Grippers: Utilizes wear-resistant polymer padding to provide superior friction and prevent pipe slippage.
Magnetic Chuck (Optional): For thick-walled ferromagnetic steel pipes, enabling rapid single-sided adsorption and release.
Multi-dimensional flexibility: Supports vertical lifting, horizontal rotation, and 90°/180° flipping, facilitating the adjustment of steel pipes from horizontal conveyor lines to vertical storage positions.
Industrial-grade safety protection:
- Air shortage self-locking protection: Even in the event of an unexpected air shortage in the factory, the clamp will remain in the gripping state, ensuring that the steel pipe does not fall.
- Load locking: The operator cannot accidentally press the release button until the object has been safely lowered.
