Rigid-arm Assisted Manipulator

Advantage of Assisted Lifting Manipulator

We have a strong technical team that provides pre-sales consultation, detailed solutions based on customer needs, and after-sales installation.

Rigid-arm assisted manipulator arms are widely used in the automotive, film, paper and printing, home appliance and electronics manufacturing, machining and casting, food, pharmaceutical and chemical, warehousing and logistics, and new energy industries.

T-shaped Truss Manipulator

System Architecture

A semi-automatic T-shaped truss manipulator is a collaborative material handling system that perfectly combines the high rigidity and load-bearing capacity of a truss with the dexterity of human operation.

Unlike fully automatic trusses that require complex programming, semi-automatic versions typically incorporate power-assisted or intent-aware technology, allowing operators to precisely move heavy workpieces in three-dimensional space with minimal effort.

This equipment features a typical “T”-shaped suspension structure comprised of a lateral travel axis (X-axis) and a vertical lifting axis (Z-axis), its core advantage being rigid guidance.

• High-rigidity truss beams: Utilizing aerospace-grade aluminum profiles or lightweight high-strength steel, ensuring the suspension structure remains sway-free during high-speed movement or sudden stops.

• Power-assisted drive system: Standard servo motor drive, coupled with high-precision lead screws or rack and pinion systems, achieves millisecond-level power feedback.

• Intelligent control handle: Integrates a pressure sensor (F/T sensor). When the operator grips the handle, the system automatically senses the direction and force applied by the hand and drives the motor for “follow-up” compensation.

• End effector (EOAT): Customizable with vacuum suction cups, electromagnets, or mechanical grippers according to the workpiece shape.

Product Advantages

Labor Liberation: Completely solves the pain points of handling heavy sheet metal, castings, or large assemblies, reducing the risk of occupational diseases (lumbar spine, shoulder strain).

Extreme Flexibility: No need to write complex logic paths for new products. The “visual algorithm” of the human eye and the “logical judgment” of the brain are far more efficient than fully automated systems when handling non-standard workpieces.

Space Saving: The truss design floats in the air, not occupying ground walking aisles, allowing AGVs or forklifts to pass underneath.

Instant Deployment: Equipped with “drag-and-drop learning” function, new workers only need 5 minutes of training to master precise positioning operations.

Typical Applications

Heavy Machinery Processing: Loading and unloading gears and shafts for large machine tools.

Automotive Assembly: Assembly of doors, dashboards, and powertrains.

New Energy Batteries: Transfer and feeding of battery pack modules into testing lines.

Warehousing and Logistics: Depalletizing and unpacking large, irregularly shaped packages.
