Overview
Zero-gravity hoist lifting arms (also known as balancing cranes) are cutting-edge solutions in the field of industrial ergonomics. Through a sophisticated pneumatic or servo control system, they counteract the weight of the workpiece, allowing operators to move hundreds of kilograms of weight with minimal force (typically less than 2 kg), achieving a “floating” handling experience.
Core Structure and Working Principle:
Articulated Folding Arms: Composed of two or more rotating arm sections, with a rotation angle typically up to 360°. This structure allows the robot to freely extend and retract within a horizontal range, easily navigating around columns or equipment obstacles.
Pneumatic Balancing Unit: Located at the end or root of the cantilever, providing lifting force via a steel cable.
Steel Cable Drive: Unlike hard-arm robots, it uses steel cables to suspend the workpiece, offering better flexibility and greater vertical travel.
