System Architecture
Two-axis automated gantry robots, also known as Cartesian coordinate robots, are one of the most cost-effective solutions for achieving large-span, high-frequency, and heavy-load material handling. This system focuses on the precise combination of X-Z axes (horizontal movement and vertical lifting and lowering) and is widely used in machine tool loading and unloading, high-speed palletizing, and precision transfer between production lines.
This system employs a modular truss structure, its core principle being the simplification of complex spatial motion into a linear combination of two orthogonal axes, resulting in extremely high structural rigidity and scalability.
X-axis (Horizontal Axis): The main crossbeam of the gantry, responsible for long-distance horizontal displacement. Typically supported by ground supports or suspended guide rails.
Z-axis (Vertical Axis): The vertical lifting arm, responsible for workpiece retrieval and placement.
Drive Unit: All models come standard with a high-response AC servo system, coupled with a planetary gearbox.
Structural Materials: Utilizes high-performance aluminum alloy profiles (for lightweight applications) or welded steel square tubing (for heavy-duty applications), and undergoes heat treatment to relieve stress.

End Effectors
Depending on the specific working conditions, the 2-axis gantry robot can be flexibly configured with the following tools:
Pneumatic/Electric Grippers: Used for gripping shafts, billets, or non-standard parts.
Vacuum Chuck Array: Used for palletizing cartons, handling sheet metal, or glass.
Electromagnetic Chucks: Specifically designed for loading and unloading ferromagnetic metal blocks and steel pipes.
