Overview
The car seat assembly auxiliary manipulator is an intelligent lifting device designed specifically for automotive assembly lines. Through gravity-balancing technology, it keeps the bulky seat in a “suspended” state, helping operators easily pick up, flip, and precisely install the seat.
Core Product Features
This device employs “Zero-Gravity Balancing” technology, utilizing pneumatic or electric control systems to compensate for the load. This allows car doors weighing between 40 and 80 kg to remain in a “floating” state in the operator’s hands, thereby enabling precise positional alignment.
- Flexible Gripping: The system utilizes custom-designed, non-standard grippers that typically grasp the car door by its window frame or internal structural components, ensuring that the paintwork remains undamaged.
- Multi-Degree-of-Freedom Rotation: Supports 360° horizontal rotation and vertical flipping, enabling operators to easily retrieve parts from the rack and orient them to the precise installation angle required for the vehicle body.
- Precise Alignment: When paired with high-precision guide rails or jib cranes, it achieves millimeter-level alignment with the hinge holes on the vehicle body.

Product Advantages
Ergonomic Design: Significantly reduces physical strain on workers’ lower backs and arms, effectively preventing occupational injuries and improving the production line’s Ergonomic Assessment Worksheet (EAWS) score.
Enhanced Production Efficiency: A single operator can perform the door-loading tasks that previously required two-person collaboration, thereby shortening the Cycle Time (CT).
Anti-Collision Safety Protection: * Pneumatic Failure Protection: In the event of an unexpected air supply interruption, the manipulator automatically locks in place to prevent the car door from falling.
Accidental Release Prevention: The gripper is designed to release its load only after sensors confirm that the car door has been fully seated within the hinge position.
Damage-Free Handling: The contact surfaces of the gripper are constructed from polyurethane (PU) or nylon materials, ensuring that no scratches or surface damage occur during the handling process.
Application Scenarios
Main Assembly Line: Installation of window regulators, press-fitting of weatherstrips, and mating of doors to the vehicle body.
Logistics & Handling: Transfer of components from material racks to the assembly line.
OK Line / Rework Area: Workstations requiring frequent removal or replacement of vehicle doors.
