System Overview
The core technology of the folding arm electric hoist for barrel handling combines the flexibility of a folding arm with the vertical lifting capability of an electric hoist. This solution is particularly suitable for workshop workstations with limited space, numerous obstacles, or where precise obstacle avoidance is required.
The folding boom solution consists of a column/wall base, a two-section folding cantilever, an electric chain hoist, and a special bucket gripping attachment. Compared to traditional linear cantilever cranes, the folding boom has two rotating joints, allowing it to extend, retract, and bend freely like a human arm, achieving “no blind spots” coverage within the workstation.
