System Architecture
Heavy-duty workpiece handling manipulators are core equipment for handling the transfer of overweight, oversized, or eccentrically loaded workpieces. They are designed for applications involving castings, large shafts, aerospace structural components, and heavy molds.
This system, based on a high-rigidity structural design, aims to transform workpieces weighing several tons into “zero-gravity” floating objects under the operator’s control.
Support Body: Employs thickened steel columns or a heavy-duty ground-rail frame.
Linkage Mechanism: Utilizes a double parallelogram rigid arm structure, possessing extremely high torsional stiffness and effectively eliminating structural deflection under heavy loads.
End Effector (EOAT): Heavy-duty grippers, magnetic clamps, or vacuum matrices customized to the workpiece geometry.

Customized End Effectors
Grip Solutions for Different Workpieces:
Heavy-duty Hydraulic Grippers: Clamping force up to tens of thousands of Newtons, equipped with a mechanical self-locking mechanism to prevent pressure failure.
Flip Positioning Device: Supports workpiece flipping from 0° to 180° in mid-air for easy loading/unloading on machine tools or multi-faceted machining.
Application Value
Reduced Labor Costs: The tedious alignment work that previously required 3-4 people working with a crane is simplified to easy operation by a single person.
Operational Safety: Eliminates safety hazards caused by broken wire ropes or violent workpiece swinging.
Improved Precision: Compared to traditional overhead cranes, the robotic arm has rigid support, enabling it to smoothly feed workpieces into machine tool fixtures, reducing clamping errors.
